August 21, 2026 (Tehachapi, CA) I have learned that elders from Shepherd of the Hills have recently been contacting people who have previously left their church, people I have referenced in my posts but have not named, in an attempt to gaslight them, get them to change their stories, and turn them against me.
All of them did not respond to the SOTH. I became aware of it. Shepherd of the Hills isn’t as liked as they think.
This is not new. The elders and Jeff Kaplan are clearly in damage control mode. They are going out of their way to contact people years later, using lies and deception to try to manipulate them.
Do they really think they can outsmart God? Do they think He does not see everything, and that Shepherd of the Hills will not reap what they are sowing?
“The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, beholding both good AND evil.” – Proverbs 15:3
Attached is a screenshot of my conversation with one of the individuals they contacted. I asked for permission to share this. They said yes, but asked that I not use their name to avoid retaliation. I have modified the image to protect their identity.
Even this person was concerned about Jeff Kaplan and the illegal elders retaliating against them. I have no such concern of this for myself, because I don’t fear them, but it’s interesting to note that others happen to be concerned about being retaliated against from a “church” of all places.
They are desperate. They are lying. And they are having the bright light of truth shined on their darkness.
