July 01, 2026 (Tehachapi, CA) When I first began rebuking Jeff Kaplan and the elders of Shepherd of the Hills publicly back on March 29th, after every attempt at private reconciliation was met with hostility, I made the first posts attached here.
But there is the story of what happened behind the scenes that nobody knows:
After making those posts, I was contacted by Law Enforcement on Easter Sunday. They stated that Jeff Kaplan and Shepherd of the Hills filed a police report due to “domestic terrorism threats” I made on Facebook. Jeff and the elders further told law enforcement that I “was planning to come to Shepherd of the Hills Church on Easter Sunday”.
They went so far as to request physical Police protection at the church property, from me, because they were so frightened by these “dangerous” posts.
However, like usual, Jeff Kaplan decided to intentionally leave out important details, in addition to him making up false ones.
I was informed, after discussing and sharing multiple pieces of evidence, that law enforcement is aware that, while Shepherd of the Hills stated “they were afraid of me”, that in actuality, they filed this report maliciously “just to get at me”. Law enforcement confirmed this. They are also aware that Jeff Kaplan and Shepherd of the Hills have been weaponizing them as a tool in order to try and intimidate me into silence out of retaliation.
This isn’t the first time. They have filed multiple reports, and Jeff Kaplan has personally done this as well, even before me starting this rebuke.
Every single one of them has fallen flat on its face and has failed incredibly.
What about following Romans 13 and submitting to the Governing authorities? Lying and weaponizing law enforcement for acts of intimidation and retaliation is a very bad idea.
Anything to prop up the facade of biblical integrity to hide the truth:
– Jeff Kaplan following pornographic accounts online
– Jeff and the “elders” defrauding their congregation
– Jeff Kaplan running fraudulent businesses with church resources
– Having a gang of illegal elders shield him from accountability
– Protecting those who sexually assault women under Jeff Kaplan’s care
That is Jeff Kaplan. That is the “elders” of Shepherd of the Hills.
