Mike Maixner

The Lord continues to give me many new adventures in ministry. It’s an honor and a blessing for my family to be serving at S.O.T.H. I enjoy visiting with and encouraging the flock, assisting with the great men of God on the elder board, leading our men’s Bible study, praising the Lord in choir, helping with the new building project, or wherever needed.

God calls us to use our spiritual gifts and the Bible has many promises from God. One is “When God calls you to do something He will equip you to do it” (Exodus 4:12). He will also provide our strength to do His will (Isaiah 40:29-31).

Each day He has shown me something fresh and new as a child of God; and, I strive to grow in the Lord and share the Good News with everyone. Since we do exist to bring glory and honor to God, it is much easier when I stay focused on our Lord Jesus and His eternal plan for all of us.
